Founding of the A. Pöselt GmbH
Pöselt GmbH was founded on May 1, 1957, by Adolf Pöselt in Dietfurt an der Altmühl. In its early years, the company specialized in the mass production of parts using stamping and turning machines. The products were sold regionally and gained recognition among well-known large companies.
July
1957
Stranding machine for bakeries
In July 1957, A. Pöselt began developing an innovative extruder machine for bakeries, inspired by ideas from a local baker.
1958
international bakery fair in Munich
By 1958, this machine was showcased for the first time at the international bakery trade fair in Munich and was successfully distributed both domestically and internationally.
1959
Construction of our own production hall
A significant milestone was the construction of a new production hall in 1959 at the Dietfurt location, which still serves as the company's headquarters today.
1961
Daughters joining the company
Starting in 1961, the founder’s daughters joined the company, ensuring the business was carried on across generations and continuously expanded.
1989
Takeover of Mrs Ursula Pöselt-Söllner
Since 1989, Pöselt GmbH has been led by the managing partner, Mrs. Ursula Pöselt-Söllner.
2025
Third generation
With the entry of Mrs. Pöselt-Söllner’s sons, the family business is now successfully in its third generation. Today, the company’s machinery park includes over 40 specialized machines and approximately 15 employees work there.

Dough strand machine
The development of the dough strand machine marked the beginning of a success story that continues to shape our company to this day. A master baker's innovative idea led to a solution that simplified everyday work in bakeries and ensured consistent quality. This invention was not only a technical advance, but also the starting point for the expansion of our expertise and the basis for many further developments.
